Differentiated Instruction PD Consultant: Independent Contractor

Nationwide, USA (Remote-Friendly / Travel to School Sites)

1099 Independent Contractor, Part-Time / Flexible  ·  Posted July 29, 2026

Instructional expertise has a lineage at our company. Early components of our programs were developed with guidance from Dr. Madeline Hunter of UCLA, whose work on effective instruction shaped a generation of educators, and we have spent every year since 1993 refining that foundation in living classrooms. Today, more than 400,000 educators have trained with the Center for Teacher Effectiveness, and our differentiated instruction program carries that heritage forward.

We are seeking consultants to deliver it. The strongest candidates have wrestled with differentiation personally: general educators who taught to five reading groups at once, special educators and interventionists who scaffolded relentlessly, coaches and professors who taught others to do the same. Our broader consultant community also includes counselors, administrators, authors, and staff development professionals, so an unconventional path is no barrier if the expertise is real.

Consultants work independently, on commission, with every training engagement paying $1,000 at minimum and typically more. Total income scales with delivered work, existing jobs can be kept, and all program content arrives complete and polished.

Applicants must hold at least a bachelor's degree in education or a related discipline.
