Every school has that teacher whose students would follow them anywhere: hands up, heads up, arguments about the reading spilling into the hallway after the bell. The Center for Teacher Effectiveness turns what those teachers do instinctively into training every teacher can use, and we are seeking consultants to deliver it.

Our company dates to 1993 and has trained more than 400,000 educators nationwide, from PK-12 public and private schools to occasional college and conference audiences. Consultants on our team come from remarkably varied places: classroom teachers and principals, yes, but also professors, counselors, superintendents, authors, staff developers, and professional speakers. What unites them is credibility with educators and skill in front of a room.

As a consultant you would deliver our student engagement program using the complete materials we provide, on a schedule you set, with or without leaving your present position. The compensation model is commission: no training day pays under $1,000, most veteran consultants do better than the floor, and total income follows the volume of work each consultant chooses to take on.

Requirements are a bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field and demonstrated excellence engaging adult learners.
