Student Motivation Facilitator: Part-Time Teacher Training (Remote-Friendly)

Nationwide, USA (Remote-Friendly / Travel to School Sites)

1099 Independent Contractor, Part-Time / Flexible  ·  Posted July 29, 2026

Q: What does a motivation facilitator do?

A: Leads part-time training sessions that teach K-12 educators how to reach disengaged and reluctant learners, using a program the Center for Teacher Effectiveness has refined since 1993 and delivered to 400,000+ educators.

Q: Do I have to create the training content?

A: No. Every session comes fully built. Your contribution is delivery, facilitation, and the stories only a real educator can tell.

Q: Is this a salaried job?

A: It is independent contractor work paid on commission. The minimum for a training day is $1,000, higher amounts are routine, and total earnings depend on how many days you facilitate.

Q: Can I do this while teaching or working in a school?

A: Yes, and many of our facilitators do exactly that, training on in-service days, weekends, and summer dates.

Q: What background do I need?

A: Meaningful success with hard-to-reach students as a teacher, counselor, coach, or administrator, plus a bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field, plus warmth and skill with adult audiences.
